Insanity is Subjective ch 6
Jervis Tetch reasoned that this was the most peculiar day of his life.
One minute, he was calm and (semi) sane. The next, he is in solitary with murder on the brain and agony in the heart. The next next, he's as gay as a lark. The next after the last next he's running for his life. The final next, he's laying on the couch, showered, shaved, and fed, in the house of the woman he loves and had gone to Arkham for, who did not love him back.
All of this transpiring within two weeks and four days time.
